The two police officers of Saturia police station SI Sekender Hossain and ASI Mazharul Islam were accused in the case.
Justice Moinul Islam Chowdhury and Justice Md. The High Court bench of Ashraful Kamal issued the ruling.
The writ petition was filed on Feb 17 for women-child and human rights organization ‘Children Charity Bangladesh Foundation’ and ‘Bangladesh Legal Aid Services Trust (BLAST)’.
On February 12, the girl of Ashulia filed a case against the two police men of Saturia Police Station in Manikganj, alleging that she was lodged in Bangla in Dhaka.
Counsel for the court hearing petition Abdul Halim told reporters that the victim would not be given a compensation of Tk 50 lakh and the hotel-motel, guest house, dak bungalow, thana, rest house of the police station, safe house, public and women in public would not be subjected to sexual harassment or their rights. The High Court asked why Rule did not give instructions on how to create a policy regarding disgrace that does not happen.
The Ministry of Home Secretary, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Manikganj Police Super and Additional Police Super and Saturia Police Station Officer-in-Charge have been asked to respond to this rule within four weeks.
Halim said, apart from the rule, the court also provided interim instructions.
“Additional police superintendent of Manikganj Manikganj and Manikganj instructed the OC of Manikganj Sadar Police Station to submit the necessary information of the incident report, medical report, relevant case documents, names of both the police, current and permanent address and rape victim by April 18.”
